IBPS SO 2025 Prelims का पहला इम्तिहान
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) हर साल Specialist Officer (SO) recruitment exam आयोजित करता है। इस साल, IBPS SO Prelims 2025 का पहला चरण 30 अगस्त 2025 को आयोजित हुआ। लाखों उम्मीदवारों ने देशभर से इस परीक्षा में हिस्सा लिया।
आज दोनों shifts (Shift 1 और Shift 2) के exam पूरे हो चुके हैं और students ने अपने अनुभव साझा किए हैं। इस ब्लॉग में हम आपको बताएँगे:

Exam Pattern – IBPS SO Prelims 2025
IBPS SO Prelims exam को विभिन्न posts जैसे IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Law Officer, HR/Personnel Officer और Marketing Officer के लिए आयोजित किया जाता है।
Exam Pattern (General Structure):
- Reasoning Ability – 50 questions (50 marks)
- English Language – 50 questions (25 marks)

- Total – 150 questions, 125 marks
- Duration – 120 minutes
Prelims exam qualifying nature का होता है, यानी इसकी marks final selection में नहीं जुड़ते।

- Reasoning Ability – Moderate to Difficult

Section-wise Analysis
1. English Language
English section दोनों shifts में candidates के लिए scoring साबित हुआ।
- Reading Comprehension (RC) पर आधारित passages आए।
- Cloze Test, Error Detection, Sentence Improvement और Para Jumbles भी पूछे गए।
- Vocabulary questions moderate level के थे।
Memory-Based Topics:
- RC passage Agriculture & Banking based था।
- Cloze Test Technology पर आधारित।
- Error spotting tricky थी लेकिन doable।
Good Attempts: 30–35 questions
2. Reasoning Ability
यह section दोनों shifts में थोड़ा challenging रहा।
- Puzzle & Seating Arrangement पर सबसे ज्यादा weightage रहा।
- Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations और Direction Sense भी शामिल रहे।
- Inequality और Syllogism moderate level के रहे।
Memory-Based Topics:
- Circular Seating Arrangement (8 persons, some facing inside, some outside)
- Floor Puzzle with Flats
- Blood Relation based puzzle tricky रही।
Good Attempts: 28–32 questions
3. Quantitative Aptitude / General Awareness
Quant section ने candidates को mixed experience दिया।
- Data Interpretation (DI) sets – Line Graph, Caselet, Pie Chart और Tabular
- Arithmetic topics – Time & Work, Profit & Loss, SI-CI, Mixture & Allegation
- Quadratic Equations और Simplification भी शामिल थे।
Memory-Based Topics:
- DI (Line Graph on production of two companies)
- Caselet DI – Simple interest और ratio-based problem
- Number Series missing and wrong number pattern

Shift-wise Highlights – IBPS SO Prelims
Shift 1 Highlights
- Reasoning puzzles lengthy थीं।
- English comparatively scoring रहा।
- Quant में DI sets manageable रहे।
Shift 2 Highlights
- Quant section थोड़ा tough side पर था।
- English RC easy रहा।
- Reasoning का level manageable लेकिन time-taking।
Good Attempts – IBPS SO Prelims 2025 (30 August)
- Shift 1: 75–85
- Shift 2: 70–80
यानी अगर आपने दोनों में से किसी भी shift में इतने attempts accuracy के साथ किए हैं, तो आप safe zone में हैं।
Expected Cut-Off – IBPS SO Prelims
Cut-off हमेशा post और category-wise अलग होती है, लेकिन exam के current level के आधार पर अनुमानित cut-off कुछ इस प्रकार हो सकती है:
- General Category: 80–85
- OBC: 75–80
- SC/ST: 65–70
Memory-Based Questions (कुछ उदाहरण)
English:
- RC passage – Agriculture & GDP growth impact
- Cloze Test – Artificial Intelligence in Banking
- Error Spotting – “Each of the players are ready” (error in verb agreement)
Reasoning:
- Eight friends sitting in a circle facing inside and outside alternately
- Floor Puzzle – 7 floors with two flats (A & B) on each floor
- Blood Relation – “A is the mother of B, who is the father of C”
Quant:
- DI – Tabular data of sales in 5 years
- Quadratic Equations – “x² + 7x + 12 = 0”
- Missing Number Series – “5, 15, 45, 135, ?”
Student Reactions (Shift 1 & 2)
- कई students ने कहा reasoning section ने समय ज़्यादा खा लिया।
- English section को scoring माना गया।
- Quant section में calculation-heavy questions आए।
- Overall paper moderate रहा, यानी ना बहुत आसान ना बहुत कठिन।
Preparation Tips for Next Shifts / Mains
- Puzzles और DI पर ज़्यादा practice करें।
- English RC और Vocabulary strong रखें।
- Time management पर focus करें।
- Accuracy maintain करें क्योंकि negative marking है।
